The nearest cashpoints are at Tesco and next to Boots at the Maybird Retail Park. Many of the stores at the Maybird Retail Park provide cashback and there are plenty of cashpoints available in the town centre.

Food & Drink

Venture House has a shared kitchen on the first floor that is equipped with microwave, fridge and boiler tap, crockery and cutlery.

A variety of eating establishments catering for all tastes and budgets can be found in the town centre, approximately a mile away.  There is also a sandwich bar and several other eateries within a 10 minute walk of the Centre.


Tesco has the nearest pharmacy and there is also a Boots Pharmacy at the Maybird Retail Park.


If you’re just after a snack or a newspaper, the Mini-Supermarket on Justins Avenue is the closest.  The Maybird Retail Centre is less than 10 minutes away on foot, providing a choice of high street retailers.  Staples is also located on the Birmingham Road, just minutes away. It’s approximately a 20 minute walk into the town centre where you will find a wider selection of independent and high street shops.
